Headquartered in Pierce County, WA, Pacific Heating and Cooling is Washington’s Leader in Home Comfort. This position will be for our New Tumwater Location, as we are focused on being the best residential heating and air conditioning contractor in the state. Our company offers heating and air conditioning services to homes in South King, Pierce, and Thurston counties.
Pacific Heating and Cooling has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Experienced HVAC Technician for our Service/Maintenance department. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail, should have exceptional multi-tasking skills and be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly, nonexempt, at-will position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heating and air conditioning systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems.
- Effectively communicate service recommendations to clients.
- Exhibit strong skills in communication, sales, and customer service.
- Uphold values of respect, compassion, and integrity in client interactions.
- Utilize various hand and power tools for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC components such as furnaces, coils, and condenser units.
- Complete tasks efficiently, adhering to Pacific Heating and Cooling’s quality and safety standards.
- Maintain punctuality consistently.
- Engage in weekly training and development meetings.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HVAC diagnostic technician.
- Demonstrated efficiency, organization, and quick problem-solving skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong passion for the HVAC industry.
- Possess a clean, insurable driving record and pass all company screenings.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors, maintaining a polite and professional attitude.
- Commitment to attending all meetings and training sessions.
- Adherence to codes, OSHA standards, and company policies, including the maintenance and organization of company vehicles and property.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Salary: $26.00 – $55.00 per hour
